We are excited to announce that free registration for the COP29 Virtual Ocean Pavilion is now open. The Virtual Ocean Pavilion will open on 6 November 2024 and close on 22 November 2024, with on-demand resources available until 22 December 2024.
This year’s Pavilion has an incredible list of features, including interactive exhibits, live events, roundtable discussions (a new feature), educational and engaging quizzes, interviews with ocean and climate experts and COP29 negotiators, a Treasure Trove of ocean-related information, art and other media, a searchable overview of COP29 ocean events, and so much more!
The COP29 Virtual Ocean Pavilion preview event doubles as a virtual event at the 2024 East Asian Seas Congress. The event features a line-up of high-level and expert panelists who will be offering diverse perspectives on leveraging the ocean-climate-biodiversity nexus in accelerating the implementation of ocean-climate action as well as a preview of what’s to come for the ocean community at COP29.
