Brazil launches a 3.95 million R$ call on coastal oil spills research

 

Following 2019’s oil spill which resulted on a 2,000 km oil slick along the coast lines of Brazil’s Northeast and Southeast, CNPq and MCTI launched on July 7th a call on research projects addressing oil spill ecosystems impacts; bioremediation; fishery resources damage assessment, among other topics.
