Following 2019’s oil spill which resulted on a 2,000 km oil slick along the coast lines of Brazil’s Northeast and Southeast, CNPq and MCTI launched on July 7th a call on research projects addressing oil spill ecosystems impacts; bioremediation; fishery resources damage assessment, among other topics.
