Connecting microbiome research and innovation strategies with policy and regulation

Event date: 16-17 November 2020 | Online

Join the workshop “Connecting microbiome research and innovation strategies with policy and regulation”. This workshop is part of the H2020-funded Coordination and Support Action MicrobiomeSupport “Towards coordinated microbiome R&I activities in the food system to support (EU and) international bioeconomy goals” (www.microbiomesupport.eu).

The aim of the workshop is to link microbiome research and innovation strategies with European regulations. The first day of the workshop is dedicated to the visions on possible microbiome-based innovations in the next 10 years, whereas the second day will be on the alignment between innovation and regulation.

We expect that attendees and speakers contribute to create opportunities and new paths for promoting microbiome innovation actions, aligned with the new Framework Program Horizon Europe as well as with policies and regulation. For further information, please find the agenda here and a more detailed note on the event here.

The workshop will take place as a virtual meeting on Monday 16th of November and Tuesday 17th of November 2020, from 14.00 – 17.30 CET.

Registration is mandatory for participation. Please note that there is a limited number of seats available for the workshop, we therefore encourage you to register well in advance. Deadline for registration is 30th of October 2020.
