All-Atlantic Ocean Research Forum

The All-Atlantic Ocean Research Forum will gather political and community leaders, researchers, industry, youth ambassadors and, inspirational speakers from along and across the Atlantic, from the Arctic to Antarctica, to showcase the results of cooperation and their impact on the citizens living on the shores of the Atlantic.

Join us to witness what many Atlantic coastal countries and beyond, and many EU funded projects have achieved together since their Atlantic Journey begun in 2013 with the signing of the Galway Statement and with the signing of Belém Statement in 2017.

The Forum will define the new strategic direction and political ambitions for the Alliance, which was launched with the signings of the European Union–United States–Canada Galway Statement in 2013, the European Union–Brazil–South Africa Belém Statement in 2017, and the European Union-Cape Verde-Argentina Cooperation Agreements in 2018.

The Forum, which is part of the international dimension of the updated EU Atlantic Maritime Strategy, will also be the occasion to launch the All-Atlantic Ocean Youth Ambassadors Forum.
