All-Atlantic Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform (AA-ATiP)

AA-ATiP Plataforma de Tecnologia e Inovação de Aquacultura do All-Atlantic

Durante os dias 17 e 18 de agosto, será realizado, em Florianópolis-Brasil, o evento de intermediação da Ação Piloto Conjunta – Plataforma de Tecnologia e Inovação de Aquacultura do All-Atlantic (AA-ATiP).

Utilizando o setor brasileiro de aquacultura como um estudo de caso, a atividade considerará os passos necessários para a concepção, implementação e gestão de uma Plataforma de Aquacultura do Atlântico, a qual seguirá os princípios de colaboração, cooperação e partilha de recursos oceânicos. Será desenvolvido um roteiro para o progresso estratégico do setor da aquacultura entre os parceiros da All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance, com atores interessados em trabalhar para identificar agendas estratégicas de pesquisa e inovação para o desenvolvimento da aquacultura sustentável nacional.

Esta ação visa fomentar o setor da aquacultura por meio do desenvolvimento e aplicação de tecnologias novas e emergentes, inovação e oportunidades de negócio, a transferência de conhecimento e tecnologia, e a implementação da Declaração de Belém para o benefício da sociedade atlântica em geral.

O Evento de Intermediação será liderado pela Plataforma Europeia de Tecnologia e Inovação em Aquacultura (EATiP), e contará com o apoio de um comitê de organização local, o qual inclui representantes da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), a Associação Brasileira da Piscicultura (PeixeBR), e a Sociedade Brasileira de Aquicultura e Biologia Aquática (AquaBio).

Dentre as organizações que irão contribuir e cooperar durante o estabelecimento da BrATiP e/ou na futura Plataforma Multiparticipativa de Aquacultura Atlântica destacam-se: a indústria (incluindo PMEs, startups e spinoffs), clusters, parques científicos e tecnológicos, organizações e iniciativas de transferência de tecnologia, agências de inovação, universidades, institutos de pesquisa e tecnologia, decisores políticos de inovação, e organizações relacionadas com financiamento/investimento.

Brokerage Event

AA-ATiP All-Atlantic Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform

During August 17th and 18th, Florianopolis- Brazil will host the brokerage event for the Joint Pilot Action – All-Atlantic Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform (AA-ATiP).

Using the Brazilian aquaculture sector as a case study, the activity will consider the steps necessary for the design, implementation and management of an Atlantic Aquaculture Platform, which will follow the principles of collaboration, cooperation and ocean resource sharing. A roadmap for strategic advancement of the aquaculture sector will be developed among the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance partners, with stakeholders interested in working to identify strategic research and innovation agendas for the development of sustainable national aquaculture.

This action aims to foster the aquaculture sector through the development and application of new and emerging technologies, innovation and business opportunities, the transfer of knowledge and technology, and the implementation of the Belém Declaration for the benefit of All-Atlantic society.

The European Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform (EATiP) will lead the event, and it will count with the support of the local organizing committee, which includes representatives from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), the Brazilian Fish Farming Association (PeixeBR), and the Brazilian Aquaculture and Aquatic Biology Society (AquaBio).

Industry (including SMEs, startups and spinoffs), clusters, science and technology parks, technology transfer organisations and initiatives, innovation agencies, universities, research and technology institutes, innovation policy makers, funding/investment related organisations are all expected to contribute and cooperate during the establishment of BrATiP and/or in the future Atlantic Aquaculture Multi-stakeholder Platform.
