UNOC3 Stakeholder Engagement Impact Report published

The 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3) was held in Nice, France, from 9–13 June, co-hosted by France and Costa Rica. To showcase how stakeholders contributed to the Conference and its outcomes, the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs has released the 2025 UN Ocean Conference Stakeholder Engagement Impact Report.

The report summarizes the many ways stakeholders took part in shaping discussions and actions—from online consultations and youth engagement to official interventions and side events. It highlights the scale of participation, the diversity of voices involved, and how these contributions fed into the “Nice Ocean Action Plan” and broader efforts toward ocean sustainability.
