At the Waitt Institute, we partner with governments, engage stakeholders, facilitate the policymaking process, and build capacity for effective implementation and long-term success to help grow Blue Economies and sustainably manage ocean resources. We are founding partners of the Blue Prosperity Coalition, a coalition of NGO’s, academic institutions, foundations, and other organizations working together to assist committed governments in developing and implementing sustainable marine spatial plans to protect the environment and improve the economy at the same time.
