The RESPONSE initiative seeks to investigate and improve knowledge of natural hazards and extreme events and their impacts on coastal resilience, using innovation to promote entrepreneurial activities on the ground with the goal of creating new opportunities. This is expected through a multi-layered approach using high level science and technology and low-cost technology which can be reproduced at the local levels.
