Implemented by Tavira Ciência Viva Science Centre, the programme consisted of a set of topics related with the ocean – the importance of seagrass prairies and saltmarshes, coastal erosion, plankton, sediments, etc; in each topic, sessions combined field work, with the use of scientific methods, with lab work and with a ludic/sports activity (ex. Sailing) in which concepts could be explores informally.
