The “Friends of Shoreham Beach Local Nature Reserve” marine education programme can be used in three main ways: (1) a teacher led site visit – Teacher workshops and conferences; (2) a guided site visit; (3) an outreach visit to your school or an Ocean Literacy Programme for Primary and Secondary Schools. They run a Stem Science Programme based around ROV kits that form part of the USA programme SeaPerch – underwater robotics program. Shoreham Beachy Local Nature Reserve Offers many opportunities to study our local coastline. This includes our rare vegetated shingle habitats, intertidal zone, fascinating coastal geography and marine conservation.
