The simultaneous acquisition of atmospheric and oceanic data from FNEO (Fernando de Noronha), Cape Verde Ocean/Atmospheric Observatory (CVOO/CVAO) and the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands (PLOCAN) will provide highly valuable information about processes at the ocean-atmosphere interface and for understanding and modeling/predicting the variability and long-term changes in Atlantic climate.
