Classe de mer is an educational programme aimed at raising awareness on the importance of the ocean, through fieldwork activities encouraging participants to discover marine wildlife. By combining theory and practice, the programme allows participants to explore coastal environments, study the different aspects of the seaside and the coast (tides, currents, flora and fauna), address economic activities (seaweed harvesting and tourism), understand the notions of food chains and adaptation to environments and also discover the cultural heritage of Brittany.
