Description

Centro Cultural de la Ciencia is the National Science Museum in Argentina and it facilitates accessibility to scientific culture through the design of different programmes that include exhibitions, workshops and conferences as well as visual arts, music and theatre plays. One of the latest actions dedicated to ocean awareness is called “Zoom”: it focuses on the life under the sea. The Cultural Centre of Science (C3) is defined as an interdisciplinary laboratory of creation and exchange of ideas and knowledge about science understood as part of culture. The cultural experience of the C3 is generated from the interaction between the different scientific disciplines and the performing, visual, literature, music, design and film arts. The proposals seek to stimulate curiosity, pleasure for science and public dialogue with different scientific and cultural actors. This space, created with the aim of bringing science and technology closer to society, is located in the Scientific Technological Pole and depends on the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
