A university program of talent recruitment in marine and environmental sciences and biotechnologies, in partnership with industry and SMEs. The program aims to provide to the best undergraduate students who have been selected for a master’s degree at a Portuguese university a postgraduate scientific training. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to carry out their master’s dissertation for 10 months, as part of a CIIMAR research team on marine biotechnology, global change and ecosystem services, conservation, aquaculture and nutrition. Young talents will be involved in a stimulating scientific and / or business environment and will have the opportunity to participate in a range of postgraduate enrichment activities that enhance scientific excellence as well as entrepreneurship in the ocean thematics and their entry into the job market. The program will be finalized with the public presentation of the works developed by the students and by the awarding of a prize to the best master project that will participate in an international congress.
