All-Atlantic Photo Competition

The All-Atlantic Photo Competition: A Celebration of Culture and Communities is an initiative dedicated to highlighting the rich cultural diversity and living traditions of the communities that inhabit the Atlantic coastlines. From the vibrant expressions of music, dance, and craftsmanship to fishing and Indigenous knowledge, this competition invites the world to showcase the depth and vitality of Atlantic cultural heritage.

Participants are invited to submit photographs that document traditional ways of life, artisanal practices, culinary heritage, and the social and artistic expressions that define coastal communities across the Atlantic basin.

The first edition was showcased at the AAORIA Forum in Brussels, Belgium, in September 2025. The second edition concluded in March 2026, with winning works to be presented at the AAORIA Forum in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
