2026 All-Atlantic Forum in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
Brazil hosted the 2026 All-Atlantic Ocean Research and Innovation Alliance (AAORIA) Forum in the vibrant coastal city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, on 15–16 April 2026. The Forum is the Alliance’s flagship annual gathering, bringing together the Atlantic Community. The Forum showcased AAORIA’s scientific coordination in addressing ocean challenges.
Building on the success of the previous Forums, the 2026 gathering advanced the All-Atlantic Declaration through ocean science international cooperation, and collaborative action.
It was hosted by the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and SENAI CIMATEC, where the event took place. It was also supported by the OKEANO Coordination and Support Action (CSA).

About the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil (MCTI) and SENAI CIMATEC:
The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) coordinates Brazil’s national policies in science, technology, and innovation. SENAI CIMATEC is a reference center in research, development and innovation in the most diverse technologies – from autonomous robotics to advanced health systems, through supercomputing, quantum computing and artificial intelligence – totaling 44 areas of competence.
