The European Marine Science Educators Association (EMSEA) is a network of marine science educators acting as one voice across Europe and beyond. Their mission is to act as a hub for the European marine education community to promote and deliver Ocean Literacy across society by working with scientists, teachers, policy makers and the public. EMSEA provides a platform for ocean education in the different European regional seas. Their shared vision is a society of Ocean Literate citizens who recognise the vital importance of the Ocean, working together to ensure it is sustained for future generations. EMSEA is a membership organisation. They support their members by sharing good practice and training opportunities through our annual international conferences. They work on grant funded projects, ensuring our members can benefit from this work. They organise events within our EMSEA regional groups and provide ways for the network to connect through digital platforms.
