Description:
The Sea Teacher?s Conference is a short training programme (13h) for primary-, mid- and secondary school teachers aiming at implementing marine science activities in (and out of) the classroom. Each year the Conference has a different central topic, such as marine pollution, seabed mapping, exploration, among others. The Conference is spread across two days, a theoretical and a practical one. The first day includes plenary talks of invited scientists and experts, linking the scientific community with the school community. The second day is exclusively aimed at performing practical activities and experiences that can thus be adapted and replicated in the classroom.
