Description:
The "Mathematical Modelling of Ecological and Socioeconomic Systems Winter School" at ZMT, GErmany aims at exploring a number of ecological and socioeconomic problems using state-of-the-art modeling methods, including differential equation-based and agent-based modelling. Both approaches will be applied using the programming language python. The topics include spreading of diseases, predator-prey interactions, processes of earth system regulation, and human cooperation.
