The Shore Thing is an initiative working with schools and community groups around the British Isles to collect information on rocky sea shore life responding to climate change. The information collected by volunteers is available online and helps building a picture of the present state of UK rocky shores and measure change in the future. In addition the project aims at raising awareness of marine science and the marine environment amongst the participants and the wider community.
