The SOS-CLIMATE ia a project conducted by the High Latitude Oceanography Group (GOAL), is officially part of the following Programs that celebrate the Polar International Year (API): (1) SASSI; (2) Collaborative Research related to ICeberg Evolution (CRAC-ICE); (3) Integrated analyzes of circumpolar Climate interactions and Ecosystem Dynamics in the Collaborative Research related to ICeberg Evolution (CRAC-ICE); (3) Integrated analyzes of circumpolar Climate interactions and Ecosystem Dynamics in the Southern Ocean – International Polar Year (ICED-IPY) and (4) Climate of Antarctica and the Southern Ocean – Ocean Circulation Cluster (CASE). The employed methodology by the GOAL can be broadly subdivided into two: (i) fieldwork and (ii) laboratory and computing in Brazil and abroad.
