Multidisciplinary research centres with a high proportion of international users face particular challenges in dealing with the resulting research data. In the “RDMatDB” project, the Helmholtz Centres Dresden-Rossendorf and Berlin are developing and testing a flexible research data management solution for the consistent description and control of generic data flows and workflows. This solution should be suitable for different research communities and different data formats and support new data analysis possibilities.
