The educational program “MARE goes to school” aims to promote the increase of ocean literacy through various activities to be carried out by MARE researchers among the school public. It arises from MARE’s commitment to promote dialogue between researchers and society, contributing for a participatory “Blue Society”. These activities are unique opportunities for students and teachers to contact researchers and the research carried out at MARE and, informally and through playful-pedagogical strategies, to explore different topics about aquatic ecosystems.
