Description

The National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (INIDEP) advise on the rational use of sustainable resources in order to preserve the marine ecosystem for future generations. They develop several resources in different formats to promote ocean literacy to all publics. In order to meet the necessary studies, INIDEP currently has two fishing research vessels, “Dr. Eduardo L. Holmberg” and BIP “Víctor Angelescu”, equipped for the exploration of large marine areas. The incorporation of these vessels was vital for the collection of continuous and specialized information, essential for the advancement of research aimed at the rational management of fishery resources.
