The “Circuitos Ciência Viva” is a science literacy tool for “curious people” where the citizens visit the country and know more about each country region main scientific aspects, culture and history. It is a tool that resulted from the more than 20 science centres in Portugal. The tool is composed by 19 circuits, 57 itineraries and more than 200 steps and many challenges. The travel in the country can be done with the use of a guide in paper, a mobile application and a discount card. The is one circuit dedicated to ocean issues at the Centro de Ciência Viva do Algarve, Faro.
