The Forum will provide a platform to showcase progress of initiatives that have been initiated in efforts to support the implementation of the Belém and Galway Statements. The Forum will also explore within this theme, key discussions linked to Society Interface for a healthier Atlantic; Skills for the changing Atlantic; Atlantic Ocean collaborative and data infrastructure; initiatives under the All-Atlantic Cooperation; launch of a new intake of All-Atlantic Ocean Youth Ambassadors and a reflection of the contribution towards the All-Atlantic Ocean towards the UN Decade of Ocean Science; and, the Sustainable Development Goals. These initiatives are well aligned with the priorities set by the All-Atlantic partners, such as South Africa’s Operations Phakisa Oceans Economy, the European Union Blue Growth Strategy; the Brazilian Blue Economy; Canada’s Ocean strategy as well as that of the United States of America.
