Arctic Frontiers 2025: Beyond Borders

Arctic Frontiers 2025: Beyond Borders

Event date: Cork 21-23 May 2025

Join us in Tromsø, Norway, from January 27 to 30 for Arctic Frontiers 2025: Beyond Borders!

Arctic Frontiers is a catalyst for decision-making and network building by mobilizing key voices of science, policy, business, and local Arctic communities, to rapidly turn knowledge into actions.

Over four days, there will be more than 70 sessions on topics ranging from the region’s vital role in the global green transition to innovative approaches for ocean resource management and how Arctic solutions can contribute to global resilience.

We’ll examine the environmental and economic implications of sustainable development, emphasizing the empowerment of Arctic communities, safeguarding ecosystems, and fostering responsible innovation. Security, governance, and collaboration will also be central themes as we examine new risks and opportunities in an ever-evolving geopolitical landscape. We’ll gain insights into strategic cooperation among Arctic nations, funding mechanisms for science and innovation, and the future of Arctic shipping and infrastructure.

This year’s conference sessions will highlight the pan-Arctic region’s potential to lead on global issues, from climate adaptation and energy transformation to multi-use marine strategies and sustainable business practices.
