All-Atlantic Joint Pilot Actions 6 Concrete Ambitious & Long-term Collaborative Actions to Strengthen Research & Cooperation

Event date: 21/10/2021

AANChOR CSA is conducting a workshop at the 8th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference, happening the 21st of October in Dublin and online.

The “All-Atlantic Joint Pilot Actions – 6 Concrete Ambitious & Long-term Collaborative Actions to Strengthen Research & Cooperation” workshop is one of the four stakeholder workshops organised within the conference programme, and it will be run in a hybrid format the 21st of October from 13:45 to 15:00 UTC+1.

AANChOR CSA will also have a virtual exhibition presenting the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance.

Concept of the workshop:

The All-Atlantic Joint Pilot Actions (JPAs) are long-term collaborative actions focussing on six topics (Ocean Literacy, Research Infrastructures, Aquaculture, Capacity Development, Marine Biotechnology, and Ocean Data share) designed by several institutions from along and across the Atlantic Ocean in scope of the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance, and under the EU funded project AANChOR.

The workshop will showcase these examples of concrete international collaboration among the Atlantic countries and present the ambitions of the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance. It will give an opportunity for the participants to get to know and possibly engage with the All-Atlantic Joint Pilot Actions (JPAs), share feedback, and promote existing related activities. The current JPAs partners are now calling on all other stakeholders interested in joining and being part of the JPAs activities, fostering international cooperation.
